I am simply trying to organise for a group of riders of similar riding ability to join me on the ride. The hydration stations provide food bananas, lollies, winners bars etc as well as water and electrolyte sports drink powder, which is included as part of your registration. This is not a race, it is an enjoyable ride at a brisk pace with some challenges thrown in for Cadel's amusement.

Each year I've done this, we've stopped at all the hydration stations including stopping for a coffee at Torquay last time it was Bomboraswhich is just under halfway.

The last 2 legs are where the hills come in and again, the link to the PDF will show you that there are about decent hills to climb depending on what you call a 'hill'.

The link will show you the elevations for each. So you need to be mindful to conserve some energy for that, and then the much shorter, but steeper Melville Ave which is only minutes later. Bike: Road Bike. The only loose gravel is at the Moriac hydration station. The car park is only a 5 minute ride m from the start. We'll leave the car park at 7am and ride to the starting area.

There will be a quick opportunity for a toilet stop or visit the tent for a jersey swap if required.

The km course riders start between 7am - am, so we'll have plenty of time. It's the same as I've done in previous years. We'll join the starting pack by about am, and we should cross the start line by am. In previous years we have been able to stick together as a group through to the Moriac stop. The last leg is quite demanding, and some people choose to bypass Challambra, so everyone can regroup at lunch.

Last year I brought electrical tape contrasting colour to the jersey to place on your right arm. This was very helpful. I'll bring tape again for this ride. Post Ride: Lunch I won't be able to stay for lunch this time around.
