These patio doors can be locked and the key removed if you are worried about the children wondering into the pool area without supervision! You will have your own private bathroom although this is not en -suite. However I will only let out to one party at a time so you will never be sharing a bathroom with strangers!

When the pool is heated the hot tub is available for an additional fee. Pets are NOT allowed I have a travel cot available for babies. Please note - I do have two cats so if you are allergic then I don't think this will be the best place for you.

Here are some of our recommendations: - Walk or cycle along the canal in Berkhamsted. You can park beside the Canal Fields playground. There is a multitude of places to get a good coffee or a meal and some interesting shops to take in. Markets are held in the centre of town on Saturday and Wednesday mornings and are to be recommended for the artisan bakery, the fruit and veg stall and the meat, fish and cheese counters. Children will enjoy the large grassy expanse and the opportunity to kick a ball around or throw a frisbee.

There are many places to explore by foot or by bike. The monument is the most popular part of all, with a coffee shop, gift shop and an opportunity to climb up to the top of the monument itself for some terrific views of the countryside.

A beautifully restored cinema; opulent and comfortable, with great legroom and a licensed bar. Booking a ticket can be a challenge either turn up in person, or call the box office onbut if you have the opportunity, do try and go!

The stairs to the first floor are typically steep as found in Victorian homes.

There is a lot of light as big windows and it has a nice, airy feel to it. It is smartly decorated and a 4 bedroom house with just two of us living there, plus Merlin the dog and Mulberry the outlaw cat, rarely seen! The guest room has its own en-suite bathroom and is in a very separate, private part of the house so you will not be disturbed. It will suit people that just want to do their own thing and have their own privacy.

We are busy people and although we live here, we are not around all the time so you will have plenty of your own space, plus we don't go into the annex at all. Berkhamsted is a historic market town and has plenty to attract visitors in its own right. It has the oldest 'motte and bailey' castle in England, walks and barges along the Grand Union Canal and is situated in the wonderful countryside of the Chilterns. Whilst the High Street has some familiar brands Pizza Express, Carluccio's, Ask, Fat Face, Laura Ashleythere are some fabulous independent eateries, fashion and gift shops to suit all tastes.

We especially love 'Zaza' for great Italian food and good value! The George on the High Street is our favourite pub - trendy and cosy but unpretentious. And do try to get tickets for The Rex Cinema - said to be 'the most beautiful art deco cinema in England' - such a treat to sit with a glass of wine and some cheese to watch a great movie. Ben TZ. Studio Apartment in sleepy countryside village. We're on the edge of Berkhamsted, a charming market town with a canal going through it, 30 minutes from London. Our house feels modern, minimalist, clean and tidy. There is a lot of light as big windows and it has a nice, airy feel to it. It is smartly decorated and a 4 bedroom house with just two of us living there, plus Merlin the dog and Mulberry the outlaw cat, rarely seen!

The guest room has its own en-suite bathroom and is in a very separate, private part of the house so you will not be disturbed. It will suit people that just want to do their own thing and have their own privacy. We are busy people and although we live here, we are not around all the time so you will have plenty of your own space, plus we don't go into the annex at all.

This affluent and pretty town is really charming It's a small market town with a canal running through it and the ruins of a castle near the train station. We have some amazing restaurants and pubs and what has been awarded by the BBC and the Sunday Times as the most beautiful cinema in the country. Fast access to London, close to airports, the house is rich in history and is being restored. Wifi only 2mb but have a 4g signal. Water pressure is also Victorian but works. Belonging to the Loxley family the Elizabethan Manor, which was used as a Royalist headquarters, home to Charles Ist, for some months during the civil war, was partially rebuilt in Victorian times.

A nice 30 minute hike through Ashridge estate to Aldbury where you can find the Valiant Trooper and The Greyhound, both of which also serve food. Excellent stay. Bellows Mill Log Cabin. Welcome to our home here in the delightful village of Little Gaddesden, on the edge of the Ashridge National Estate. So please come and see us, make your base here and explore the area, be it for visiting family, coming to a wedding or exploring this beautiful part of the Chilterns on foot, bike or horseback! You may even be working! We have 4 double rooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms. Our other double rooms share a bathroom across the hall. Little Gaddesden Bed and Breakfast. The Dryer Cottage is a two storey property, with three bedrooms. The lounge are has two large sofas, and a televison with Freeview and DVD player. There is also a downstairs shower room and toilet. Upstairs the master bedroom has a King-size bed which can convert to a pair of twins, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

There is a twin bedroom which can convert to a king with a chest of drawers, a single bedroom with a chest of drawers, and a family bathroom. Ample parking is available for tenants use.

Electricity cards are available to purchase if more electricity is required. Heating by electric radiators. The cottage has an enclosed garden. There is a fishing lake on site, and arrangements can be made to use this.

This little mill, recorded in but certainly very much older, was in use until Restored by volunteers, and now maintained and run by Ford End Watermill Society, it is the only remaining working watermill in Buckinghamshire with original machinery.

An unusual feature is the sheepwash in the tailrace below the mill. Washing made the fleece easier to shear and increased its value. The Dryer. Superhost Détails. The bedroom is one of five in our large, spacious home and is used as permanent guest accommodation. We are a 20 minute walk from the station 30 mins to London Euston or Milton Keynes, 15 minutes to Watford and so this may suit more permanent Monday-Friday business guests who either need to work locally, or further afield.

We are avid travellers and have stayed in all types of accommodation including many fellow Airbnb homes! Ours is a family home and we take pride in providing our guests with a memorable stay. Berkhamsted is a historic market town and has plenty to attract visitors in its own right.

It has the oldest 'motte and bailey' castle in England, walks and barges along the Grand Union Canal and is situated in the wonderful countryside of the Chilterns.

Whilst the High Street has some familiar brands Pizza Express, Carluccio's, Ask, Fat Face, Laura Ashleythere are some fabulous independent eateries, fashion and gift shops to suit all tastes. We especially love 'Zaza' for great Italian food and good value! The George on the High Street is our favourite pub - trendy and cosy but unpretentious. And do try to get tickets for The Rex Cinema - said to be 'the most beautiful art deco cinema in England' - such a treat to sit with a glass of wine and some cheese to watch a great movie.

We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months.

It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station. Parking for two cars is available close to the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. The Hayloft is a first floor flat with its own private entrance. The private front door opens on to a wide staircase which leads up to the landing with storage cupboard with hanging space.

The landing opens on to the sitting room, which has sofa, armchair, table and chairs, chest of drawers, TV and DVD player. The bedroom has a four foot six double bed and bedside table.

The shower room has a power shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, and washing machine. There is also a shared garden available on the farm just a short walk away. The Hayloft has oil central heating. Wi-fi is also included in the rental. This apartment is a serviced apartment which includes a weekly linen change for longer stays.

All our properties on Town Farm are comfortably furnished and offer all the convenience of your own home, all with fully equipped kitchens, some with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Linen and towels are also provided, together with an information pack in the property, with a list of local activities and things to do.

The location of the farm means that we have lovely views over the Vale of Aylesbury and Ivinghoe Beacon, so we are in the middle of the countryside, and yet only 10 minutes to shops, railway station and a wealth of activities the area has to offer.

We love the area because you can be in the middle of the countryside one minute and hopping on the train for a 50 minute ride to London the next. The Chilterns offer a wide variety of activities, from National Trust properties, walking through the bluebell woodlands, driving through the picturesque "Midsomer" villages, to visiting Tring Zoological museum, swooping down the real snow in Milton Keynes Snozone, or playing Top Golf in Watford.

We are also close to the Grand Union Canal which stretches from London to Birmingham and which offers leisurely walks and boat hire. We are also only around an hour from Stratford on Avon, a little further to Oxford and Cambridge, and is a good basis for sightseeing. Nice place, close to local town and links to london.
